Gratitude Journal – Day 244 – March 2, 2015

The dance…..
she heard the words, but can’t remember who sang them tonight….
On the memory of the dance we shared
'Neath the stars above for a moment
All the world was right
How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye
And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end, the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss
The dance
All the world was right…. yes, myDarlin’ Robert Kenui Pope we used to often say to each other as we drifted off to sleep, ‘We have a good life.’ Your goodbye came much too soon, but your love and aloha still fill my heart to overflowing.
I am grateful tonight myLord that you sent my soulmate to me when I least expected it, and that we experienced a lifetime of love – the dance - in those short years. And as our snowglobe of life is shaken, we find that ‘all you need is love.’
