Mother’s Day…
Tomorrow will be the day we pause to celebrate and honor Mothers everywhere, and I am no exception as I am honored to be a part of generations of wonderful Mothers in our Ohana.
- to my maternal and paternal Grandmothers – while I never had the opportunity to know you, I want to thank you for bringing my Mother and Father into this world, and giving them the very best start you could.
- to my Mother, thank you for being the best Mother Sara and I could ever ask for.
- to my Mother-in-Law, thank you for adopting and raising three wonderful beings, with a special note for myDarlin’ Robert Kenui Pope as he was and is the light of my life.

And I celebrate the next generation of Mothers, my daughter-in-law, step-daughter, sisters, friends, Ohana as they embark upon and continue their journey of motherhood. I think that we would all agree that at times it’s not easy, but all of the time that it is rewarding.
And as I sat this evening, writing entries in my Gratitude Journal, this song came on and I want to share this on behalf of all Mothers to their children.
